enVironMent

It was realized by the organization from the initial period that the rejuvenation of the degraded ecology is very much important. So, we have vowed to work for conservation of local resources in a campaign mode. The first and foremost task in the context is to awaken the masses and make them aware of the graveness of the problem. Earlier the organization was also awarded by Vriksha Mitra Award in 1991 Still it is organizing events to promote plantation, sanitation and behavior changes towards local resources.

For building confidence within the communities, Vikas Bharti works in capacitating the target community groups and individuals. Along with capacitating vulnerable sections of the society, we also try to introduce modern technologies within the communities, so that they can compete with the technology intensive production system in the present globalised world. Vikas Bharti is not only introducing new technologies but is also working continuously for the preservation and refinement of the indigenous technologies in the rural areas.
